Mwatate Disability Network (MDN) is located in Mwatate Subcounty, Taita Taveta County, Kenya. It is registered as a community based organization (CBO) for persons living with disabilities (PWDs).
MDN’s goal is to realize the aspirations of PWDs in this region. Our current project is the construction of 14 bedsitters in Mwatate.
This will bring in resources to help PDW families become financially independent and able to support their families. With your help, we will achieve this goal.
A huge amount of effort has been made by the members to start projects and establish facilities that will ensure they do not remain a burden to others.
Their current representative at the Office of the Mwatate Member of Parliament, Ms. Janet Warighe Mwakachola, has worked hard to ensure their voices are heard and their struggle is see.
That is why children of MDN members who are grown and capable of assisting are coming together to help the group build their dream.
